Ragi mudde is a dense ball of cooked finger millet. You pinch off pieces, dip them in soppina saaru (greens curry) or naati koli saaru (country-chicken curry) and swallow them without chewing. It is filling, nutritious, and closely linked to Old Mysore cooking.
